CONSULTATIONS

Consults can go as short or as long as you need – you only pay for what you use. During these prorated sessions you can talk to the team about anything and everything related to your treatment, goals and history. Some common topics include breaking down test results, procedure overviews, genetics education, selection of donor sperm, "I'm pregnant, now what?" and referrals to other specialists involved in your fertility treatment. What is discussed during these consults is totally up to you, as we strive to personalize your care.

If this is your starting point, we will walk you through the typical fertility work-up to give you an idea of what to expect at your reproductive endocrinologist’s office. This applies to those simply curious about where they stand, fertility-wise, those who are seeking to preserve their fertility via egg or embryo freezing and those who are actively trying to conceive. We’ll cover your personal concerns as well as FAQs our team has come across frequently during our time in the fertility field. We will also be able to guide you to the right doctor/clinic if you haven’t already selected one. If you already have a proposed treatment plan or protocol from your reproductive endocrinologist, we’ll go over the recommended action(s).

For those actively trying to conceive, we help explain the process – everything from the least invasive, such as tracking natural cycles with or without medication to induce ovulation, to the most invasive, such as IVF with chromosomal testing of embryos. We also cover things such as the use of donor sperm – where to start, how to navigate sperm banks, how to choose a donor and what testing is necessary.

For egg freezing, we address all the hesitations that come with it, particularly the question: Should I freeze my eggs? We get approached about this frequently by women of all ages and from all walks of life and we’re happy to walk you through the decision-making process.
