Ciara Nielsen, BSN, RN
Fertility Consultant
Ciara has worked as a fertility nurse for the past 8 years. Having stumbled upon the field by chance she soon realized she was lucky enough to have found her calling. Early on in her career a patient asked her “what would you say to me if I was your sister?” and she has since used this approach in counseling patients with not only the best clinical advice, but also honest and direct guidance through the fertility journey. She prides herself on providing the same level of empathy and compassion for clients at all stages in the fertility process, from those simply exploring their fertility status to those deep in the trenches of IVF.
Ciara is particularly passionate about the subfield of recurrent pregnancy loss and has published two research articles in the ASRM Journal of Fertility and Sterility. She currently lives in Copenhagen, Denmark and volunteers on the recurrent pregnancy loss unit at one of Copenhagen’s largest hospitals. Ciara will primarily be working with our European clientele but is also available for virtual consults and communication. She is proud to be a part of the Fertility Together team!
